Water supply to Qurm and Al Khuwayr was again hit due to another pipe burst on Wednesday.
The supply remained either poor or interrupted as a major pipeline in Qurm has been affected. An official from the Public Authority for Electricity and Water said, “This is the third pipe burst in the past week. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue. However, this being a major pipe, we do not know how long it would take to fix.”
The official said that repairs should be done by Thursday.
