The training schemes aim to provide professional skills for job seekers to succeed at their work place, stated a press release.

Maharat’s vision to align continuous practical training with employment fits in squarely with Oman’s ‘National Agenda’, added the release.

A key feature in Maharat has been introducing various apprenticeship – training schemes with international and local certifications.

These include junior accountants, junior warehouse stock controllers, sales and marketing and enterprise transformation. The aim of these schemes is to deliver a globally competitive Omani workforce.
