Red Arrows Aerobatics Display in Oman

Red Arrows, the aerobatics display team of the UK’s Royal Air Force, will have a display in Muscat at 3pm on Sunday, the team has tweeted on its official twitter account.

“The team’s next #RedArrowsTour display will be in #Muscat, #Oman, at Shatti Al Qurm near the Intercontinental Hotel on Sunday at 1500,” the tweet read.

The Red Arrows are on the Asia-Pacific and Middle East Tour 2016, the team’s biggest overseas tour in a decade.

More than 20 displays and several fly pasts are planned during the two-month long tour that began on September 29.

The deployment will contribute to the UK government’s GREAT campaign and showcase the best of British innovation and industry. The team – flying British-built aircraft – has performed in more than 55 countries around the world.

“Our Asia-Pacific and Middle East Tour is the Red Arrows’ largest overseas deployment for a decade and will see the team perform in China for the very first time,” RAF Red Arrows Squadron Leader David Montenegro, team leader of the RAF Aerobatic Team and Red 1, was quoted as saying on the website.
