Multan, also famous as the City of Saints, will be airline’s third destination in Pakistan after Sialkot and Karachi launched last year.
The airline will have three weekly flights to Multan. It has already begun online bookings with fares starting from RO35 for one way.
From Muscat, it will be flying to Multan on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, while on return journey it will fly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
SalamAir had announced last week that it was starting flights to a new destination with a teaser on its social media account. “A premier cultural and economic centre in southern Punjab, this city was once upon a time known as the ‘City of Saints’. Can you guess where we are taking you next?” it had tweeted.
