31 undergo training in boosting advisory skills

Muscat – The Competence Development Institute at the Diwan of Royal Court held a graduation ceremony on Tuesday. The ceremony was held for participants of the programme, ‘Developing the Advisory Capacities of the Experts Category’.

It was held under the patronage of Hussain bin Ali bin Abdul Latif, Advisor at the Royal Court in Al Wahat Club. Latif said in a statement that the programme supports the participation of the staff of the Diwan of the Royal Court and other government units.

He said that the general trend in the country is based on diversification of sources of income and that there are more participatory programmes between the private and public sectors.

Dr Khamis bin Saud al Toobi, director general of administrative development and acting director general of the Competence Development Institute in his speech explained that the programme comes within the annual plan adopted by the institute in cooperation with educational and training institutions at the global and local levels.

The 12-day programme, which was attended by 31 participants covered a number of topics. The ceremony concluded with distribution of graduation certificates to the participants.
