Bank Muscat, as part of its ‘Let’s Do More’ vision and commitment to partnership in sustainable social development, has extended support to Al Noor Association for Blind.
The bank donated 54 air conditioning units for the association’s new head office in Bausher at a ceremony attended by Osamah al Abdullatif, assistant general manager – Project and Structured Finance, and Ibrahim Hamdoon al Harthi, chairman of Al Noor Association for the Blind.
The support for Al Noor Association came as part of the bank’s Tadhamun corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, aimed at enhancing facilities for the vision impaired to help them integrate with mainstream society.
Abdullatif said, “Bank Muscat is delighted to extend a helping hand to the visually challenged and enhance facilities to improve their social and economic status.”
Harthi thanked Bank Muscat for the support benefiting the vision impaired citizens and said, “The generous support extended by the bank will go a long way in equipping the association with an enhanced work environment.”
