Drizzle in Muscat and South Batinah; overcast conditions to continue

Muscat – Several parts of the sultanate are likely to receive rainfall on Wednesday, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) stated. On Tuesday, Muscat and South Batinah received light to moderate showers.

“There will be partly cloudy skies over Musandam and parts of Sea of Oman, coastal areas, with chances of isolated rain,” PACA stated.

The rest of the sultanate are likely to see clear skies with chance of low level clouds and fog patches, over parts of Buraimi, Dhahirah and South Sharqiyah. “The sea is expected to be rough and people should exercise caution while sailing.”

The maximum temperature in Muscat on Tuesday was 23°C, while the minimum was 14°C. Jebel Shams recorded the lowest temperature at 0°C.
