Opera Galleria has started a dedicated pop-up art studio for winter-themed art activities. The studio, aimed at children between four and eight years old, will guide young artists, during the month of January, through a series of techniques and mediums to create winter-themed art.
The activity is open to just 15 lucky children each week and participation is by registration only, stated a press release.
Located on the ground floor of the Opera Galleria mall, next to Paris Gallery, the set has been designed to resemble a winter wonderland of snow and polar animals. Icicles will hang from the ceiling, white carpeting will cover the floor and moulded blankets of snow will surround the studio.
The events, which are being organised in collaboration with Pop Events, will encourage children to explore different art techniques, use their creative minds to personalise their work and offer them a chance to immerse themselves in this magical winter setting. There will be different activities each week based on the theme of winter and participants will receive special tokens to celebrate their attendance.
Winter Art Studio is a free event, with limited space for 15 children every week.
The event which started on January 6 will continue till January 27 and will be held from 4pm to 5.30pm.
