Residents of Qurm, Bausher, Al Khuwayr and Ghala were hit by poor water supply on Saturday because of damage to three pipelines. The flow was either poor or interrupted.
An official from the Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) said, “This is a very rare problem that we have had in recent past. The problems started on Saturday when three big pipes encountered a breakdown.
“Our engineers are working on the problem. One pipe has been fixed and supply resumed, but the other two pipes still need work.”
PAEW said that the problem will be solved by early Sunday.
