An Omani driver and is two colleagues (Bangladesh nationals) were killed when the three-tonne water distribution truck in which they were travelling fell fell off from Hamriya bridge near Ruwi.
They were on duty along with another helper distributing Oasis Dubai water.
The driver lost control of the vehicle as he tried to manoeuvre the sharp curve on the bridge and fell off to the grass.
One of the workers managed to jump out of the vehicle as it was coming down. Two major accidents on the road were however averted
