Thundershower with chance of isolated rain over Muscat

The latest weather analysis in the National Multi Hazard early warning center show that the Sultanate will be affected by a deep upper air trough starting from tomorrow afternoon Monday (29th February 2016) and lasting for the next three days.

Isolated rain, occasionally thundershowers associated with fresh wind and hail, are expected over governorates of Musandam, Al Buraimi and Al Dhahira and gradually affecting governorate of Muscat, North and South Al Batinah, Al Dakhliya and North and South Al Sharqiya.

Sea State will be rough along the coasts of Musandam with maximum wave height of 3 meters and moderate along the coasts of Oman Sea with maximumw ave height of 2 meters.

The public authority for civil aviation advices public to take precautions during rain and do not cross wadis and check the sea state before sailing and follow the latest weather bulletins.
