Saudi Arabia officials have thwarted an attempt to smuggle a foreign woman into the kingdom from Bahrain under a pile of clothes in the back seat of a car, Arab News reported.

“During routine inspection, our alert officer found the woman sitting on the mat and hidden under a pile of clothes,” said Daifallah Al Otaibi, director of Customs at the King Fahd Causeway, as quoted by Arab News.
