Zubair Leasing delivers new vehicles for Haya Water operations

The handover ceremony was held on Monday at Haya Water premises. The event was attended by Eng Hussain Hassan Abdul Hussain, CEO of Haya Water, and a number of senior officials from Haya Water, while Zubair Automotive Group was represented by Mark Tomlinson, group general manager, and Rashid Abdullah al Hooti, head of Corporate Affairs.

Commenting on this new vehicle fleet leasing contract, Eng Hussain said, “Haya Water always strives to provide the highest levels of service in all its projects across the sultanate. It is moving forward with a firm and steady pace to implement one of the largest engineering projects in the field of reusable treated wastewater.

“To achieve these objectives, it is important to rely on qualified personnel as well as strong and reliable vehicles that enable the staff to achieve their tasks easily. This criteria led us to renew our cooperation with Zubair Leasing to begin 2018 with a stronger fleet and provide us with a range of vehicles that we can rely on.”
Tomlinson said, “We are delighted to once again join hands with Haya Water to fulfill their fleet leasing requirements. This cooperation first began in 2003 and is one based on delivering outstanding personal service, commercial value and a fleet of rugged and reliable saloon, 4WD and commercial vehicles to suit the diverse needs of Haya Water requirements.

“This contract once again reinforces the high levels of trust between our two organisations and confirms that our commercial vehicles are in line with the needs of the company to help it achieve its objectives. We look forward to continuing this relationship for many years to come and we appreciate the great confidence placed by Haya Water in the brands we represent in the Omani market.”

The renewal of the contract in its third edition with a large company such as Haya Water is a great recognition for us. Under the terms of the contract, Zubair Leasing handed over large number of vehicles from the Mitsubishi brand to Haya Water, including the Pajero, Lancer EX and L200 pickup. The new vehicles are expected to strengthen the Haya Water fleet and meet its planned vehicle requirements for 2018 and beyond.

Haya Water, a registered trademark of Oman Wastewater Services Company, was established in December 2002 as a closed stock totally owned by the Government of the sultanate, and has been awarded the concession to develop, design, implement, operate and maintain the wastewater facilities in Muscat Governorate in accordance with the Royal Decree No 69/2005. Haya Water is steadily advancing to implement one of the largest engineering projects in the field of re-use of treated wastewater it is also looking forward to accomplish its primary objective of making Oman one of the pioneer countries around the globe.
This is achieved by improving the health levels of all citizens and residents, contributing to reducing pollution caused by conventional sewage systems and preventing the spread of diseases and epidemics.

In addition, Haya Water contributes to protecting groundwater sources from pollution and maintaining the water reservoir since it is a national treasure which requires our cumulative efforts to preserve for future generations.
