Around 7,568 tonnes of vegetables have been stored in adequate cold storage conditions.
Muscat Municipality has confirmed that the Central Vegetable Market in Mawelah received over 28,000 tonnes of fruits and vegetables of different varieties to meet the needs of domestic consumers during Ramadan and avoid any possibility of increase in prices.
The central market received around 1,065 trucks loaded with 21,300 tonnes of vegetables and fruits during the period from May 31 to June 1.
