All duplicate key making shops must obtain a licence from the Royal Oman Police (ROP), a ministerial decision issued by the ROP has said.
The licence fee is OMR 50 and is valid for one year, according to Lt. General Hassan bin Mohsin Al-Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs.
The ROP has warned that shops failing to renew on time will be penalized OMR 10 per month
