The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has announced via Twitter that all residents and citizens must replace cooking gas cylinders manufactured in or before 1995 by November 15.
MoCI also said that it will not replace the cylinders after the deadline. It confirmed in the statement that according to Decision No 201/1991 gas cylinders older than 15 years should be destroyed. The ministry has urged citizens and residents to visit the nearest LPG distributor or agent and get the cylinders manufactured during the specified period replaced before the deadline.
