Heavy rain fell in south Batinah region, a weather enthusiast said quoting residents.
“In Suwaiq, wadis are overflowing following early morning rain,” said Bader Ali Al Baddaei, an administrator of a local Web-based forum that discusses weather in Oman.
Meanwhile, Oman meteorology department has predicted heavy rain in Muscat and Batinah region in the coming next hours.
In a special notice, Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has advised public to take extra caution during rain.
