Heavy rain is likely to fall in northern parts of Oman from Monday till Thursday, according to a top official from public authority for civil aviation department.
“Northern Oman will witness heavy rain leading to flooding from March 7 till March 11. Many reasons are behind the rain. However, we are analyzing the situation and we will come out with statement for public soon,” a senior official from the PACA.
Meanwhile, Jason Nicholls, the senior meteorologist at Accuweather.com, had tweeted that models consistent showing concerns for flooding across portions of Oman and UAE for next week.
“Strong trough will bring rain, some possibly heavy, to Oman and UAE from Sunday or Monday into Friday,” he had tweeted.
