The event was attended by more than 50 participants including directors and heads of departments on the central and governorate levels, and members of the GCC Statistical Center, stated a press release.
The workshop aimed at identifying the health information and reports issued by the Department of Information and Statistics, and ways of interpreting health indicators from the health data. This will help decision makers in the healthcare field establish plans and future goals.
The workshop included several scientific lectures and reviewing publications of the department, which contain information in multidisciplinary fields such as demographic and biological indicators, human resources, health services and expenditures.
