The Ministry of Education has decided to close all schools in Oman for Wednesday except for those in Al Wusta and Dhofar regions.
The ministry will review the situation again on Wednesday.
Colleges closed
Meanwhile, some of the top colleges including Oman Medical College, Majan College, German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) and Sohar University have announced closure.
