She said no fee will be levied for the merger till December 31.
India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj announced in New Delhi on Sunday that the deadline for merger of PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) and OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India) cards has been extended to December 31. The earlier deadline was June 30.

The Embassy of India in Muscat recently issued a press release stating the cards of PIO will not be valid after June 30.
