Body of fuel station supervisor repatriated

The body of John Philip, a fuel station supervisor, who was found murdered last week near Ibri was repatriated to India on Monday night.

The body was first taken to Delhi and from there to Kochi via a connecting flight, Philip’s relative said on Monday.

He added that the post-mortem found two bullets inside the body. The Indian expatriate from Kerala was kidnapped from a fuel station on the Ibri-Buraimi road, and was later found murdered in Masrooq near Ibri. Six persons have been arrested by ROP in connection with the murder.
