An Indian expatriate was found murdered in Muttrah on Tuesday evening.
The body of 50 year old Sathyan, who hailed from Trivandrum in Kerala, was found lying with his throat slit in the corridor of the residential apartment block where he used to stay. His body was found by a neighbour around 6pm.
According to a report, the deceased used to work as a collection agent for a food products distributor and was responsible for daily collections of more than RO15,000. He had been in Oman for the last 30 years.
