Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested 50 persons for committing 87 thefts across the Sultanate in June.
An ROP source said that theft cases registered a decrease of 47 per cent as 87 cases were reported in June compared to 165 during the same period in 2015.
He added that necessary legal actions have been taken against the accused.
