Rejimon Bhaskaran, (37) had been depressed, hanged himself at his accomodation in Al Hail on Sunday.
A native of Alleppey district in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Bhaskaran was employed with a cleaning company.
He had been in Oman for a decade. When he did not report to work on Sunday, his colleagues came looking for him in his accommodation and found his body.
Bhaskaran had last visited his home five years ago. He had been depressed, his colleagues said. The process to repatriate his body has been initiated.
