Muscat- Eyewitnesses have reported a major pipeline burst on Rex Road near BankMuscat / Kanoo Travel and Old Koliwada Restaurant intersection.
No official statement has been issued by the Public Authority for Water and Electricity (PAEW).
It may be noted that a major pipeline burst was reported in Muttrah on Friday, disrupting water supply in the surrounding areas for almost 48 hours. The burst that took place in the middle of a road also affected traffic movements today in Muttrah. The areas affected were Mumtaz, Darsait and Muttrah.
